- In the legacy system, it was difficult to update the time for providing calendar and pricing data for the services dynamically.
- The legacy system posed difficulties in content management, image related updates and channel order downloads.
- As legacy system was not dynamic, it was not scalable. The further enhancements were tedious and time consuming.
Solution Overview
- Cognisun team analyzed the legacy system; conducted JAD sessions with business stakeholders to understand the short comings and wish list.
- Designed data modeling schema using React-native based MySQL Database and migrated the legacy system data for products, categories, customers into newly redefined database schema.
- Developed an application portal from scratch based on React native framework with extensive customization using NodeJS. This Portal is easily extensible, scalable and maintainable.
